Maria I. Padilla Doctor of Nursing Practice

Maria “Isabel” Padilla earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Texas at El Paso in 1998. She also received a Bachelor degree of Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2001. Her Master of Science degree in Nursing from The University of Texas at El Paso and Family Nurse Practitioner Certification was earned in 2006. In 2014, she graduated from the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program at The University of Texas and was granted the Paso def Norte Health Foundation Graduate Fellows Program award for her academic excellence and leadership. Dr. Isabel Padilla has more than 12 years of nursing experience, including neonatal intensive care and in family practice. As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner at Sun City Medical Clinic she focuses on family medicine, lending her experience to manage primary health care concerns as well as acute and chronic conditions. She acquired an interest in anti-aging procedures and in 2008 obtained training to inject facial rejuvenation products such as Botox and Juvederm.
